The DiveAlert SMB (surface marker buoy) features Semi-Closed-Circuit (one-way valve) construction, which prevents air spill at the surface. Inflate on the surface to attract visual attention or redundant flotation. Inflate at depth to send up as a surface marker. 

Solas reflective tape (Coast Guard approved) across the top of the SMB creates better visibility day and night. An all-in-one Over-Pressure Valve (OPV), Oral Inflator, & LP Hose Inflator with deflate cap. 70 inches long x 6 inches wide = approximately 25 lbs. of lift. Nylon D-ring on the top allows for easy attachment of a light or slate, along with a Nylon D-ring at the bottom for a bolt snap to attach to your BCD. Connect both D-rings with the bolt snap for a surface flotation device. Lightweight and strong 70 Denier polyurethane coated nylon material.

Made of 70 Denier polyurethane coated nylon, this SMB will last dive after dive without issue. The nylon D-ring on the top allows for attachment of a light or slate.

UTILITY POCKET with Included Spool

The added pocket holds the Patent Pending spool that does not need a bolt snap to tie off the line while hanging.

INFLATOR VALVE

Inflation of the SMB can be done in any circumstance. You can inflate the DMB5 with your BC LP inflator hose, or by mouth via the flexible plastic inflator valve. Cap it off to keep it clean or turn the cap around to deflate.
